The mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
I found this project one day while randomly surfing the internet, and it immediately took hold in my head, since my life was getting boring and I needed some changes. So, I took a day to come up with a list, which I continue to refine, and then I released it on Wednesday May 17 2006, the same day I turned 1001 weeks old. Yes, I just had to find some significance for the date of release.
So, that’s the back story. You now know much of what I know about the project. Now all you have to do is create a list of your own. That will help me achieve goal #51, but even more, it will help you in your life like it has helped me.
