Dude. You need a ride someplace?

My parents finally decided to make a purchase of a new vehicle.

They bought a 2005 Chevy Malibu which was formerly a rental car in Hawaii.

Therefore, they made me an offer I couldn’t refuse on their old car.

I am now the proud owner of their 1998 Ford Escort with slightly over 70,000 miles on it.

Of course, I bought it for less than half of the blue book value. So that made me kind of happy in the pants.
