Right, so when I went into work this morning, it was awesome. Y’know, one of those early mornings when you just wanna start shooting people ’cause it’s so freezing, and the gun would probably warm you up… but other than that, it was pretty awesome.
Lunchtime rolls around, and the wind is blowing. Not just a little breeze, but the type of wind that just wants to start hurling small cars at your face but just can’t get up the swirli-ness.
I go on my last break, and it’s raining.
It’s still raining 30 minutes later when I get off work.
It’s still raining 30 minutes later when my mother gets off work and comes to pick me up.
70 minutes later, when I get out of my mother’s car at school, I think about how calm and clear it is outside. That’s when it hits me…
It’s gonna snow.
About an hour later, it did.
I came back outside when class was over, and it’s encased in snowy ice. I can barely work the door handle. Finally, it opens.
I crank up the heating defrost, and grab the trusty brush that’s been in my mother’s car ever since she got her license. I then proceed to scrape the ice off of the mirrors. Then I just take off when I can barely see! Yippie!
Yeah… I just love driving on icy roads (not my fault) at dangerously high speeds (OK, so that one was my fault. What? Haven’t you ever heard of the magic of a vehicle placed at just the correct angle into a power pole, which causes a power outage that makes, say, an entire school lose power for a long time?).
