So yesterday, I was informed that I will be training for Food Avenue.
Not as anything permanent, just to cover breaks and lunchs, and perhaps scheduled there every so often.
Why would anyone want that, you might say?
Well, because Target pays an extra dollar an hour more to work on Food Avenue.
So, there are many new skills I must aquire. Cleanliness, Making pizza, preparing the range of Starbucks © caffine-infused drinks, and not sneezing in front of guests.
Oh, and of course, the registers over there are completely different beasts. With touch screens (ooooohhhhhhhhh….). That, and they are exceedingly slow at processing anything. Oh well, at least we don’t have the R/G ratios on those registers. That’ll be nice, getting training for yet another job where we can toss those values out.
Well, time to head off to school. Cheerio!

yay for food avenue!!! and not sneezing in front of guests…yeah that would be bad.
Customer: Hi can i have a slushie?
Matt: sure just one second *sneezes spreading mucus all over*
Can’t you just see that happening?
I really can’t.
Because Customers are referred to as Guests.
That, and I don’t make slushies.
I make Icees.
And I don’t even do that, I just give people cups.
