The Blarg!

Well, it seems I am alone with my thoughts. Well, except for the mother that keeps coming in here to bug me about making a Father’s Day card. Well, now I have completed my card, thanks to the American Greetings ? CreataCard ? software from Micrografx ?!

Now that I’m done pitching my card-making software, I need to write something. When I sat down to write this journal entry, I wanted to have a journal entry that was comprised entirely of comments received in this journal, so that I wouldn’t have to do diddly-squat. However, when I was trying to scour the journal, looking for material, I discovered something: there weren’t enough comments for me to create an entire journal entry. So I guess I’ll actually have to write, instead of showcasing the writing talent of my friends. That’s OK, too.

Today, my parents were both out of the house, which is a rarity since my dad works from home. It’s always more fun without the parents home. I didn’t wake up until around 10:00, when I literally just rolled over and started returning phone calls from the previous day. I started with one Beverly of Centennial, CO, who I talked to for several minutes until one Jeff of Centennial, CO came to take her to work. It was like watching “The Price Is Right” together, because we were both watching the aforementioned television show and making comments of both contestant and commercial.

After I got off the phone with Bev, I called one Lauren of Centennial, CO, received no response. Then I called Jeff again, because I had given him plenty of time to get Bev to work. He was not home at the time. Then I called Lauren again, recieved no response. Then Jeff called me, and we made plans to go down to the anime store in the afternoon. Then I got out of bed. Then I ate breakfast. Then I “put some damn pants on before the neighbors tried to get me for indecent exposure”. Then I called Lauren again, receiving the same response as the two times before.

Then, around 1:00, I went down to the anime store with Jeff with a sinister motive, because my Hellsing DVDs were screwed up. So I obtained new copies that work. Hooray for working. When I got home, I called Lauren again, and received the same response. I then proceeded to load Jeff’s Trigun DVD, and checked out for the afternoon.

There you have it: my exciting day. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
