I FUCKING HATE GOLALA.COM!!!!!!

The GoLaLa server is down again right now. That server is down more than it is up, and yet they still say they have 99.9% uptime. They must be referring the the “uptime” for the server’s maintenance spcialist.

I have asked GoLaLa to give me a copy of my SQL data. It was supposed to be done this weekend. Well, unless it shows up in the next 2 hours, they have failed at that endeavor. However, it is my belief that when you tell someone you’ll be able to do something by a certain date, you should struggle to get it done against all odds. Anyway, the reason I want my SQL database is because I’m going to move my board off of their server. It’s moving to a server I have control over. If I cannot get that data, well, I’m just going to have to live without my precious posts.

Besides, everything was getting kinda dumb anyway.

Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake gonna be in “a shitload of trouble”

CBS announced Sunday that those “damn dirty skanks” Janet & Justin are gonna be in a “metric shitload” of trouble for their performance at Superbowl XXXVIII’s Halftime Show. The couple’s sexy duet performed to Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body”. As they reached the end of the clip, they came to the line “Gonna have you naked by the end of this song”, followed by Timberlake  reaching across Jackson’s body and ripping the cloth off of her right breast.

MTV, CBS, the NFL, and Timberlake have all formally apoligized for the “wardrobe failure” (Timberlake). However, as one anonymous source claims, “How could it not be an accident? There was a stratigically placed silver star over the relevant part of Jackson”.

This act was followed by a man who was dressed as an official darting onto the field and performing a disturbing Riverdance over the football, dressed in only an official’s cap and a jock strap. According to witnesses, this man performed for a good 20 seconds before Houston police closed in on him. When he attempted escape through the Patriots’ recieving line, a player tackled him and he was “carefully escorted” off the field.

Today, I witnessed an ad in the comics section of the Denver Post, urging parents to send in petitions to end the gratuious sex, violence, homocide, suicide, and other “suggestive” themes from entertainment. This ad also urged you “not to bring freedom of speech into this highly controversial matter”.

Hmmm, you don’t want me to question my civil liberties, and when an anonymous group is telling me not to, I’m supposed to think this is OK?!?!?!?! This is not pre-1991 Russia. This is not pre-2001 Afgahnistan. This is definately not pre-2003 Iraq. So why aren’t I supposed to question my civil liberties? It couldn’t be because this group is trying to restrict liberties not restrictable by constitutional law, right? It couldn’t be to get an amendment passed to edit parts of the First Amendment, could it? “No law can be made to restrict speech, unless what you’re saying is against the moral standards of the following people”????? Is that was it is?

And this is supposed to be OK. I am disgusted by the world today. So I’m going to bed, and trying the world tomorrow. Peace, if you can find some.

The commercials are always the best part of the Superbowl, and the ads of Superbowl XXXVIII are no exception to the rule. Several great commercials include;

Not-So-Loyal Friends

I absolutely hate when friends are disloyal to their friends. As those who know me know, our good friend Bev has had some major problems lately, and is still trying to get over an extremely bitter break-up with her ex-boyfriend. That was when her downward spiral began. First, she was just in a state of shock for about 4 months. Then, she started listening to music from ICP, eventually becoming a devout fan. Then, around the middle of October, she started smoking once again, after having quit for about 10 months. She didn’t seem to be experiencing any more ill effects then; however, so we took almost no notice. Then, after Christmas, she almost certainly started abusing weed, and possibly other drugs, and on Tuesday she thought she had been drugged over at the Albertsons across the street, although I’m convinced she was just making an excuse after abusing something stronger than weed, and trying to smolder the fire of suspicion she knew we’d have if she was fucked up for a few days.

All though this, she has been distancing herself from her group of friends that includes me, Lauren, and Jeff. (this is by no means a complete list; don’t bich about it if you’re not listed here!) She’s relying more on the crowd of smokers and druggies who have become her new friends. She never calls just to talk anymore; only when she wants something and can only get it from me. She has fabricated lies about her “old” friends such as Jeff. Today, she said some really scary things about the person who drugged her, which are completely evil: ways to kill, torture, and disember were included on this list. She has managed to really scare me. She’s started intentionally cutting her arms.

I really don’t know what to do about this situation. Bev seems to be getting worse; As she continues to destory herself, she also continues to destroy her friends - the ones who really care about her. I, as well as all of Bev’s “old” friends, are worried sick about her. We’ve tried to concoct solutions. However, every tim we do, she seems to get better. Some of her friends have even contemplated giving up on her - something that takes a lot out of us! I’m finding it extremely hard to write this
