Yo, An Update!
Just in case you didn’t know this already, I haven’t been updating much lately. Since no one I know follows my blog, I figure I must offer an explaination to my neglect of my blog since August 20th. First, I have been uber-busy with homework this year. I mean, I figure I’m taking less classes, I get less homework. Not so. I have gotten more homework this year than I have gotten in the last two years. Or perhaps it just seems that way because I am actually attempting to do it all this year. Yes, that must be it. Also, I have been working on a new website for a while. That has eaten many hours of my time as well. Finally, there is the undeniable fact that this year, I have crossed over to the dark side. That’s right, I have become a theatre geek, along with being a computer geek and a student assistant geek. These are three cliques that do not communicate or attempt to live in harmony, and several times I have had to seperate battles of these cliques to avoid personal injury or reputation loss. There was one particulary nasty encounter with some processor-carrying computer geeks that almost ended up scratching me repeatedly.
Seriously now, I have become a theatre geek, one of several that lives in the annals of the AHS Theatre. You would be surprised at how many techies and actors live there. I am one of the few, the geeky, the proud. I am a member of the Godlike Lighting Crew. We put the fire in your eyes so you don’t have to see the raunchy sexual scenes. This fall, our production is The Skin Of Our Teeth, written by Thornton Wilder. This is a fun little play that kinda jumps around, but you see some pretty unstable and slutty characters in this play. It’s fantastic. Anyway, I just wanted to offer up an explaination into why I haven’t updated. Peace.
